Matt is extremely knowledgeable and can help you decide what is best to meet your needs while keeping the health and preservation of your trees in focus. Prices are reasonable and the work they do is excellent. They clean up everything when the job is done and you will be pleased with the result. I highly recommend Matt Schrock and Woodlawn. Matt worked collaboratively with me to develop a plan for some dying tree and stump removals and to trim and treat some evergreens. He’s old school- no lift or bucket truck. Just a man with a rope and a willingness to climb to get it all done. Ok, he had a tractor and other large equipment too to help, plus his hardworking sons. Great experience!

Matt and his sons have been helping us with are trees for many years. He is an accomplished arborist. I am confident in his work. He keeps our tri-color beech looking great. He has treated it for a disease and trimmed out native growth. He braced the zelcova. He keeps the magnolia from overtaking the driveway. All our trees are looking great. I had some trees against my very long driveway that I had concerns about. I didn't want them to fall and block my access. Matt came out very promptly to assess the situation, pointed out which trees were dead and which were OK, and sent an estimate in a timely manner. After discussing a game plan where he was quite flexible, his crew cut down the tree, laid them where our neighbor could access them for firewood, and cleaned up the area so I didn't need to do anything. Excellent, friendly service at a good price!

They are by far one of the best tree trimming companies in this area. Always professional, i’ve had them several times now and every time they have always done an excellent job cleaning up after their job. If you ask Matt some questions in regards to your trees, he’s happy to answer and happy to give you suggestions on how to improve your trees. They do everything from tree removal tree, trimming to stump grinding, and also planning of trees which I had one put in and it’s doing fantastic. Definitely a company above of the rest.
